OUR HISTORY

Since our incorporation in 1989, we have been driving energy innovation and contributing to economic growth at home and globally.

Since inception, we have focused on harnessing Nigeria’s vast natural gas resources, transforming what was once wasted into a valuable engine of economic growth, environmental progress, and human development. By capturing and utilising gas that would otherwise be flared, we have converted over 237.7 billion standard cubic meters (8.39 trillion cubic feet) of associated gas into a force for sustainability.

Our vision extends beyond simply increasing output.

Through initiatives like the Domestic LPG Scheme, we have made cooking gas more accessible and affordable for millions of Nigerians. Now, with the Train 7 expansion project, we are set to boost production by 35%, reinforcing our role as a global energy leader and paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
